PROSPERITY® Zinc alloy die casting is a precision casting process that uses high pressure to inject molten zinc alloy into precision metal molds. It is widely used to manufacture metal parts with complex shapes, thin walls or fine textures, and is commonly found in fields such as hardware, electronics, automotive parts and handicrafts. Zinc alloy die-castings feature high specific gravity, great strength and excellent wear resistance, and support surface treatments such as electroplating and spraying. Its melting point is relatively low (about 385℃), and its fluidity is better than that of aluminum alloy. It can be formed into ultra-thin-walled structures (with a minimum wall thickness of 0.3mm), but the finished products are prone to a granular feeling or burrs, which need to be improved by polishing. The mold design needs to take into account the forming requirements of complex structures (such as embossed patterns), and the process parameters must be highly matched with the performance of the die-casting machine. Despite the risk of surface defects, its high precision and high mass production capacity still make it the preferred process in fields such as automotive parts and electronic product casings.

1. Balance of strength and toughness-Zamak 5 alloy (containing 4% aluminum and 1% copper) has a tensile strength of up to 280MPa and a hardness of ≥85HB after die-casting. It is suitable for scenarios that require frequent opening and closing, such as cabinet doors.

2. Good wear resistance-It has stable mechanical properties at normal temperature, outstanding wear resistance, and a service life of over 50,000 opening and closing cycles.

3. High molding accuracy-Die-casting technology can achieve integrated production of complex structures, with a dimensional accuracy of ±0.05mm, which can precisely meet the non-standard size requirements of custom furniture.

4. Diverse surface treatments-It supports electroplating (chromium, nickel, gold), spraying and other processes, and can present mirror, matte, brushed and other textures. It has excellent anti-corrosion performance (salt spray test can last up to 48 hours).

5. Low Density-With a density of only 6.6g/cm³ and a single hinge weight of no more than 100g, it reduces the load on the cabinet door and is especially suitable for thin plate cabinets (thickness ≤18mm).

6. Highly cost effective-The raw material cost is lower than that of stainless steel, and the production efficiency is high. The cost of detachable hinges is only 60% to 70% of that of stainless steel, making it suitable for bulk custom furniture.

7. Adaptation to complex structures-It is suitable for precision parts such as auto parts and electrical components, as well as scenarios like toys and lamps where mechanical strength requirements are not high.

8. Enironmental adaptation-Stable performance at room temperature, but avoid using in high temperature (>80 ℃) or low temperature (<0 ℃) environments.
