What is enamel?

Enamel is a new type of composite material formed by coating glassy inorganic materials on a metal substrate and firing them at a high temperature of 900 degrees. This composite material features corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, weather resistance, smooth surface, rich colors, easy cleaning, antibacterial properties, and no pollution to the environment.

Performance of PROSPERITY^® Enamelled Steel Sheet:

1. The hardness of the porcelain glaze reaches 6.0-7.0 on the Mohs scale, which is higher than that of steel but lower than that of gemstones.

2. Wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, grafft-resistant, easy to clean, rich in color, bright in luster, and highly wear-resistant. After fluorocarbon spraying and powder coating, it is far superior to porcelain enamel.

3. It does not fade, has strong weather resistance, and does not age. Enamel has an extremely strong resistance to the atmosphere and light. Even under direct sunlight, its color will not change. Its service life can last up to 50 years, with its physical and chemical properties remain unchanged.

4. The surface is dense and smooth, which is not conducive to bacterial growth. It is resistant to chemical erosion, acid and alkali, and has a combustion performance of A1 grade.

5. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, has good temperature resistance and deformation, and can withstand sudden temperature changes of up to 400° C.

6. Artistic expression can be carried out on the surface: decal, silk-screen printing, blue and white porcelain, color printing, etc. After sintering, the material properties remain unchanged.

7. Non-toxic, non-decomposable, does not release harmful substances, does not emit harmful rays to the human body, poses no threat to human hygiene and safety, and causes no damage to the environment.

8. High voltage resistance, electrical insulation. A 1mm thick enamel coating can withstand a voltage of 10,000V and can be used as a high-voltage insulating coating.

9. Antibacterial, bactericidal, photocatalytic self-cleaning, thermocatalytic self-cleaning, biological activity compatible with the human body, photoluminescence, field luminescence, far-infrared radiation and other properties.
