PROSPERITY^® 2017 aluminum plate is a typical hard aluminum alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium series, with relatively good comprehensive performance. It is the earliest type of hard aluminum to be applied and is generally called standard hard aluminum. It has medium strength and good machinability.

PROSPERITY^® can produce 2017 aluminum plates under temper O, T3,T4, T351 and H112, which have good machinability, resistivity, good electric welding and seam welding performance, and certain heat resistance. The working parts made of PROSPERITY^® 2017 aluminum plates can operate at a temperature of 150° C. They have high strength. When the temperature exceeds 125°C, the strength of 2017 alloy is even higher than that of 7075 alloy. The application scope of aluminum plates in 2017 was relatively narrow, mainly in rivets, general mechanical parts, ships, building structural components, truck hubs and other fields.
