PROSPERITY^® 2A14 aluminum plate is a hard aluminum alloy, so it has high strength, good thermal strength, excellent machinability and resistivity, good spot welding and seam welding performance, can be strengthened by heat treatment, and has an extrusion effect, so there are differences in longitudinal and transverse properties. The tensile strength of 2A14 aluminum plate can reach 420MPa, and the elongation is above 10%. PROSPERITY^® is currently the only manufacturer in China that can produce 2A14 series aluminum plates.

PROSPERITY^® 2A14 aluminum plates are applied in fields that require high strength and hardness, including high-temperature applications, heavy forgings, thick plates and extruded materials, wheels and structural components, truck parts and suspension system components, etc. The 2A14 aluminum plate produced by PROSPERITY^®, like the 2A11 aluminum plate, has a melting temperature ranging from 700 to 750°C and a rolling temperature ranging from 390 to 430°C. However, the casting temperature and extrusion temperature are required to be higher than those of 2A11 aluminum plates, ranging from 715°C to 730°C and 440°C to 460°C respectively.

PROSPERITY^® 2A14 aluminum plate is mainly used in situations that require high strength and hardness, including high temperatures. Heavy forgings, thick plates and extruded materials, wheels and structural components, truck frames and. Suspension system parts, large frames, Bridges, molds, large shells, truck components, car covers, auto parts, shipbuilding and other fields.

The elongation of PROSPERITY^® 2A14 aluminum plate is over 10%, and its Brinell hardness can reach 135 HB. The natural aging time can last up to 15 hours. 2A14 aluminum plate has excellent machinability, high resistivity, good spot welding and seam welding performance. Like 2A11 aluminum plate, it is a hard aluminum alloy with high strength and good thermal conductivity, and can be heat-treated. The edge cutting quality of 2114 aluminum plates is good, and there are no burrs or interlaced layers in the shape of towers.
