PROSPERITY^® 5A02 aluminum plate is an aluminum-magnesium series anti-rust aluminum. This alloy has a relatively low magnesium content and features high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It belongs to the 5 series aluminum-magnesium alloy. Except for 5A05, its strength is higher than that of the 3 series and 6 series alloys. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. Its plasticity is still good during semi-cold work hardening, but it is low during cold work hardening. It has good formability and weldability. Cold deformation can enhance its strength. The alloy has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in Marine environments.
